Privacy policy

How the Sudden website handles visitor information and contact requests.

Last updated

This policy applies only to the public website at sudden.network, including its blog and contact page. It does not describe data processing by the Sudden product, customer integrations, or third-party websites.

The short version

We do not use analytics, advertising technology, tracking pixels, or cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. We do not build profiles of website visitors, sell personal information, or use it for targeted advertising.

Information the website handles

Contact requests

The contact form asks for your name and work email. The information you submit is delivered to our team so we can respond. If you continue the conversation, we also handle the information you choose to provide in that correspondence.

Technical delivery

The website’s hosting and content-delivery infrastructure processes ordinary request information, such as an IP address, the requested page, browser information, and request time, to deliver and protect the site.

The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile (opens in a new tab) to distinguish people from automated abuse. Turnstile processes browser and network signals for that security check, but it does not receive the name or email you enter in the form from us.

We do not enable visitor access logging. We use aggregate service-health and error metrics, not a visitor analytics database or individual browsing histories.

Sudden does not set cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may use browser storage or set strictly necessary security cookies (opens in a new tab) on some challenge paths. Sudden does not use that browser state for analytics, advertising, or tracking. Because we do not track visitors, browser privacy signals do not change how the website behaves.

Security reports

The website uses a Content Security Policy to restrict which resources a browser may load. If the browser detects a violation, it may send us a report containing the page URL, the blocked resource URL, and technical details about the violation.

Reports are stored in our logs for 14 days.

Why we use contact information

We use your name, work email, and related correspondence to:

We process security reports to diagnose website security and configuration problems.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and maintaining a secure, reliable website and, where applicable, on taking steps you request before entering into an agreement.

How long we keep it

We do not create or retain browsing profiles or visitor analytics records.

Contact submissions are deleted after 90 days. If you continue the conversation, related correspondence may be kept longer if it becomes part of an active business relationship or if we need the record to comply with law or resolve a dispute. You may ask us to delete your information sooner where applicable law gives you that right.

Who can receive it

Members of our team can access contact requests so they can respond. Service providers help us operate the website and process contact requests on our behalf.

We may disclose information if the law requires us to do so. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not disclose it for targeted advertising.

These providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. You can contact us for more information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or provide a copy of your personal information, or to object to how we use it. We do not use website or contact-request information for profiling or automated decisions.

You can make a privacy request through our contact page. We will reply so you can tell us what you need. You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work.

Third-party websites

Links from this website to third-party websites and services are governed by those providers’ own privacy practices. Those providers receive information from your browser only when you choose to follow a link to them.

Who is responsible

Sudden Technologies, Inc. operates this website under the Sudden name and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy through the contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
